                                                                                                                                                                        Library + Lab = Stratton ES Learning Commons      The Stratton Learning Commons is open during school hours for student learning and book checkout. The Learning Commons operates on a reservation basis, and teachers sign up to use the space. The library has Open Access; students may come in when they need a book, except during state testing. Kindergarteners, First, Second, and Third Graders check a book out weekly during a scheduled time, Fourth and Fifth Graders prefer to check books out as they need them.
  Kindergarteners and First Graders may check out one book a week, Second and third Graders may check out two books for two week. Fourth and Fifth Graders may check out up to three books for two weeks. If a book is overdue, the system locks the student out until the overdue book is renewed, returned or paid for.
